  I will be reporting this gas station to the Better Business Bureau. I was up all night stressing because I had no gas in my car, and this gas station is just around the block. I spent hours scrounging up all the change I could find since I don't get paid for two more days and have meetings all throughout Kansas City for the next three days. I was so relieved when I knew I would have the gas I needed because I had the money I needed. When I arrived at the gas station, with labeled and counted bags of change for each dollar that I had, the female owner proceeded to shake her head vigorously at me and say, "NOPE. NOT TAKING THAT." When I sort of laughed thinking she was kidding, I quickly realized she was not. She continued with, "I have to count all of that change when I go to close the register and I'm just not going to do it. I'll take the silver though." At which point she started to dig through all of my "silver" and only select the quarters which totaled $3.50. This is all at 6:30am and now I get to spend the rest of my day stressed and hoping I get from one meeting to the next, all because a gas station cashier chose to refuse my money and my business. I will never go to this gas station, or it's restaurant if that's what you can call it, Papu's Cafe that is inside of the station, of which I will be writing a review on as well. I am in the HR and customer service business and I never write reviews. However, this is so terrible, that I hope no one continues to support such bad business practices.
