  I am so sad to post this. I have coveted Unruh tables for years. Unfortunately, after spending $5k on a table and chairs, our table cracked down the center after owning it for less than 3 months. I’ve contacted Unruh, and of course they will fix it...but I have to pay $250 to have it picked up and delivered. Tables shouldn’t crack in 3 months. I’ll be out a table for as long as it takes to fix it and will forever be concerned about it happening again and being out another $250. I’ve been told there’s no way they could have known this would happen, and told there’s nothing they will do about waving the fee. I just want everyone to know that while the warranty seems amazing, anything that happens to your table after drop off - even if it’s nothing you did - you’ll have to pay to have it fixed. Unless you have your own truck - which I don’t. -addendum: all 4 legs of my table have also cracked. I’m unbelievably disappointed. They have said they will honor their warranty for the life of the table - but I’m super unimpressed with how they have communicated. Blanket statement emails and no phone calls to discuss despite asking them to call me several times.

  Visiting the showroom is an amazing experience. The business is in an old beautiful church and the work is done in the empty sanctuary. All of the people that we dealt with were wonderful to work with! It's so nice to be able to pick out the piece, kind of wood, kind of finish and dimensions that you want and have the piece custom made. In the showroom there are rooms set up with different pieces that they make so you can really get an idea of what the pieces will look like. You can tour the workspace and seethe craftsmen at work. We highly recommend this place. The piece we had made is beautiful. We looked all over town and the internet trying to find a distressed looking buffet and were very happy to eventually have found Unruh!

  I was very impressed with the entire process. The showroom tour experience was very helpful and interesting. I found everyone to be kind and genuinely interested in providing a wonderful, high-quality piece of furniture for my family. The delivery team was courteous and respectful of my home. I would recommend Unruh to anyone without hesitation and I look forward to doing business with them again in the future.
